The envelope, pouch, oversized clutch — whatever you want to call it — has become a choice companion to me and my favorite celebs and trend reporters like Katie Holmes, Oprah, WhoWhatWear and Vogue.
I’m the woman who wears a bag down to shreds. I’m terrible at switching handbags per outfit, and often stick with brown and black so that “it matches with everything.” Yeah, I’m THAT bag lady. Right now I’m between bags and have struggled to find something functional, yet unique that stays true to who I am – a one-bag-at- a-time-kind-of-girl. Valentines Day is coming up and my boyfriend would love me even more if I could just email him a website link and item # to my desired purchase. (We’re beyond romantic at this point.) I digress.
The pouch (as I like to call it) is my saving grace. Clare Vivier and Baggu have managed to create the perfect bag (they both sell other styles too!) that is derived from high quality textiles, distinctive cuts and refined taste. The color is rich, the leather is genuine – it can double as a present and bag for additional gifts! Did I mention the color???
